Interrail - 6 months residency in Norway

I'm originally from the United States, but have been in Norway for almost five months. I obviously do not count as a 6 monther, and will not until the end of my planned trip. However, I believe I am technically a Norwegian resident, and have a Norwegian residence permit, which I have only had for four months.

I doubt it, but since I am a Norwegian resident, can I qualify for an Interrail pass? Eurail is so much more expensive....
