I am traveling next week and arriving in Budapest at 15:30 on June 3rd....
Does anyone know if the night trains for summer months will be running yet?
Is there a night train that leaves Budapest on June 3rd and arrives in Split on the 4th?
Cost for ticket? Can I get a sleeper cabin or 1st class ticket?
Can I book this ticket on line or do I need to wait until I land in Budapest?
Thanks for your help!
I am traveling from the United States and don't need a Eurail Pass...just a one way pass to Split from Budapest.

Hi!
No, the direct Budapest - Split connections seems to be running on Tuesdays and Fridays only from June 18 to August 25, sorry.
An alternative connection on June 3rd would be:
Budapest keleti 1305 - 1936 Zagreb gl kol
Zagreb gl kol 2250 - 0656 Split
I dont think you will get the tickets online, best to buy them in Budapest at the station. You will find 1st and 2nd class accomodation on the Budapest - Zagreb train and 2nd class seating as well as a sleeping car on the Zagreb - Split train.
