When you go to use your month pass do you need to validate it in anyway before you use it for the first time?

Hi.
No, you don't have to validate it as the starting and the ending date of the period your InterRail pass is valid are printed on it.

Hi!
No, you just have to determine the first day of validity when you buy/order your InterRail pass. You then can use it from 0001 on that day. :)
