We were planing to go from Thessaloniki to Belgrade, then to Zagreb and from there to Amsterdam.
Our destination is Amsterdam.
But i saw that it takes 13 hours from Thessaloniki to Belgrad and 8 hours from Belgrad to Zagreb.
Is there any other way?

Hi.
These are the connections...
Thessaloniki-Belgrade: https://rail.cc/en/thessaloniki-skopje-belgrade-night-train/f1636
Belgrade-Zagreb: by day train
Zagreb-Amsterdam: by day train to Munich, then continue to Amsterdam by night train.
Zagreb Glavni Kolod. Dep: 1300 | free EC day train
München Hbf Arr: 2133
München Hbf Dep: 2243 | CNL night train: https://rail.cc/en/munich-amsterdam-night-train/f3746
Amsterdam Centraal Arr: 0903
An other more direct travel route is the one via Vienna: https://rail.cc/en/athens-amsterdam-train/f2371
And there is no other route than the ones mentioned above. I think it is normal when traveling long distances, that you can't do it within 2 hours. And crossing Eastern Europe is not like traveling in a high speed train in Western Europe. It is much more adventure, much more fun, much more to see and a lot of travelers you will meet.
Simply have some beer with you, sit down and relax. :)

Italy-Croatia:
by ferry - https://rail.cc/en/ferry-italy-croatia/f2338
or by train via Slovenia to Zagreb: https://rail.cc/en/venice-ljubljana-train/f3664
