Hi, I am an Indonesian but currently doing an internship since 5 February 2010 until July 2010. In August 2010 I am planning to have the trip an I'll be back to Indonesia in September. Should I buy Interrail or Eurail Pass?

With the Global pass, can I first go within Germany for example to Berlin, Hamburg, etc and then to Barcelona-Paris-Milan-Venice-Rome? Is this pass also included all trains for example from France to Italy and within Italy (Milan-Venice-Rome)? And after that back again to Germany? and is this included all trains (IC,ICE,and other express train in other country)?

Thank you very much for your answer.

Hi.

If you start interrailing after the 5th August and have a proof of your residency for one European country (visa, residency permit), you can buy an InterRail pass:
https://rail.cc/en/interrail

Starting before the 5th of August, you will need an Eurail ticket:
https://rail.cc/en/eurail

Train schedules are here: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
A lot of trains are included (like for example IC and ICE trains in Germany). In Italy you will have to pay some supplements for the high speed trains:
https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation

Keep in mind, InterRail is not valid in your country of residence:
https://rail.cc/en/how-to-interrail

And definitely check the country topics. You will find for all your journeys options to use night trains and cheap free trains:
https://rail.cc/en/countries

Just as an example: Paris-Barcelona.
Don't use the expensive direct way, use the much nicer and cheaper way:

Thank you very much for your quick answer.

So if I buy Interrail Global Pass, I can use it in Italy,Spain,France, and maybe also other countries except Germany? And in all these countries all trains are included with some surcharges on some specific trains?
Do you think it will be cheaper to buy all tickets separately or to buy the Interrail Global Pass 2nd class youth? All I want to visit is only Paris, Barcelona, Milan, Venice and Rome.

Thank you.

Hi.

Mmmmh. I don't know the fares for single rail tickets.
But I think, an InterRail pass 5 in 10 days or 10 in 22 days will be cheaper traveling such long distances.

For Germany there is a special pass available this summer: EUR 145 (if you are under the age of 26)

In France using TGV is sometimes difficult, read here:
https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/tgv-sncf/42

Traveling from Paris to Barcelona, use the Petit Train Jaune in the Pyrenees:
