Hi,
I'm beginning to plan a month's inter-railing. I'm thinking one of the two routes;
One:
France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Greece, Italy.
Two
Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Turkey.
Does anyone have any tips for routes like these? Also am I being too ambitious with the number of countries, and does anyone know where's best to see? I'm trying to kepe costs down.

Hi.
It depends on how many days you have for your travels.
I personally would go for option TWO - as it is more interesting - away from the big typical tourist spots.
For example:
Berlin
Prague
Krakow
Budapest
either via Brasov(Castle Dracula)-Bucharest-Sofia
or: Belgrade-Skopje-Sofia
then continue to Istanbul.
All details about the routes are in the country topics: https://rail.cc/en/countries
or simply use the schedule planer: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
Have a sunny trip, Peter :)
