Hello I am going interaillin for a month this summer starting in Athens on the 18th of June and looking to arrive in Valencia by the 15th of July for the Benicassim music festival. The cities I would like to visit are
Split(Croatia)
Budapest
Vienna
Prague
Berlin
Amsterdam
Barcelona
Valencia
Has anyone done a similar route before or anyone have any tips on what rout to take or how much it is going to cost I would really appreciate it. I have 2500 euro at the moment, would that be enough?

Hi.

From Athens to Split it is a bit complicate.

You have the option Athens-Patras-ferry to Italy-Italy-ferry to Split:
https://rail.cc/en/interrail/athens-to-patras
https://rail.cc/en/ferry-greece-italy-patras-bari-ancona-venice/f1348
https://rail.cc/en/ferry-italy-croatia/f2338

Or only by train via Belgrade, Zagreb to Split:
https://rail.cc/en/thessaloniki-skopje-belgrade-night-train/f1636
https://rail.cc/en/night-train/zagreb-split-b821/129

You have also the possibility: Belgrade-Bar and then by bus to Split:
https://rail.cc/en/belgrade-bar-train/f3445

Split-Budapest: via Zagreb. And check the country topics: https://rail.cc/en/countries

Budapest-Vienna: only use direct international trains, otherwise you will have to pay supplements for the Hungarian national trains.
https://rail.cc/en/budapest-vienna-munich-train-railje/f4070

Vienna-Prague: by direct EC day trains with a supplement of EUR 7.
https://rail.cc/en/night-train/vienna-berlin-en-60406/45

Prague-Berlin: https://rail.cc/en/prague-berlin-train/f3360

Berlin-Amsterdam: https://rail.cc/en/berlin-amsterdam-train/f2407

Amsterdam-Barcelona:
Amsterdam-Paris: https://rail.cc/en/amsterdam-paris-train/f1472
Paris-Barcelona: I recommend to use the way trough the Pyrenees, as for the fantastic nature, the Petit Train Jaune and it is as well cheaper than the direct night train.
https://rail.cc/en/paris-pyrenees-barcelona-le-petit-tain-jaune/f4023
https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/france/fr

Barcelona-Valencia: by day trains - attention as nearly all trains n Spain have supplements:
https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/spain/es

Of course there are always other connections and routes available. Just use the schedule planer:
https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route

And 2500 EUR including the ticket should definitely be enough.
Have a sunny trip and if you want to support our work here at the forum, buy your official InterRail pass at [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]
Thank you, Peter :)

So there is no way to go from Split to Athens easily by train?

No, part of the way would probably have to be done by bus
