Hey! ;)

My friend and I plan to travel with interrail this september.
We'd like to know if we can make this route (Vienna-Rome-Barcelona-Paris-Amsterdam-Prague-Vienna) within 22 days. We wanna start with a flight to Rome. Shall we add citys? We also would be intrested in Madrid, London, Brussels, Bern and Strassbourg. What do you think? Shall we visit some other citys or are these ok?

Thank's for helping us!

Hi.

From Vienna to Rome you also have a direct night train. If you book early, you can get a good special fare via ÖBB. Just wanted to mention it.

Make a decision between Barcelona/Madrid and London. Both will be too much for a 22 days tour.

If you travel to Spain, add the Pyrenees on your way to Paris:

If you travel to London, think about these two ferry connections:

Maybe add Berlin on your way from Amsterdam to Prague.

As soon as your plans are a bit more fix, let me know and I can give you more details. :)

And always check the country topics as there you will find a lot of useful information concerning travel routes: https://rail.cc/en/countries

We fly to Rome because we also have to pay a surcharge in Austria anyway and with flying we save a lot of time (and days of our interrail-ticket ;) )

Rome, Barcelona, Paris, Amsterdam, Prague are fixed points on our route, alle other cities are just options. So we can canncel Barcelona.

We think about travel through the Eurotunnel instead of using the ferry.

Another question: Has anybody tipps to make Disneyland cheaper?

Some more tipps? :D

Concerning the Eurostar Paris-London:
pay attention as it has a high supplement of 65 EUR - one way.

That's why I talked about the ferries. :)
If you know the exact travel dates, you might get a cheaper special discount ticket directly from their website.

Maybe think about Krakow (Poland) on your way back to Vienna?!? :)

What do you think - how many cities shall we visit all in all?

I recommend at least 2 nights per city.
For bigger ones (like Amsterdam, Rome, ...) even 3 nights might be good.

Otherwise you just rush trough. :)
