Hi, im planning to go from Rome to Bari or Brindisi with train and from there to Bari or Brindisi with boat to Igoumenitsa.
From wich city (Bari or Brindisi) shall i take ferry, what are the time tables and is it safe not to make reservation untill i arrive?

Hi.

I recommend [b]Bari[/b] or [b]Ancona[/b] as your start to Greece as from there the cheaper leaving.
At [b]Igoumenitsa[/b] there is NO train station. Better to travel to Patras and continue from there:

Schedules of the ferries via the link mentioned above.
As foot passenger you won't need a reservation, except you want a seat or cabin and not just staying somewhere on deck.

Thx for reply, what about taking the bus from Igoumenitsa to Thessaloniki? Are those busses ussualy full and do u perhaps know the price for that?

Ah okay. If you want to continue to Thessaloniki, Igoumenitsa is the faster solution.
