Hey hey :) We are a couple of new interrailers so we are planning 22day trip from Copenhagen. Our starting route is like that:
Copenhagen - Amsterdam - Paris - Marseille - Nice - Florence - Rome - Naples - San Marino - Milan - Munich - Prague - Berlin - Copenhagen
We are very open for any suggestions for our routemap, what could we substitute or just add with new destinations? Our goal is to visit the most beautiful places around that ring. So we are really really thankfull for any suggestions or help - how to save as much as possible (avoiding some train-routes for cheaper fares or nice cheap hostels), and how to visist as much too (it would be pity to miss some astonishing places between your destinations) ;)
Thank You in advance:)

Hi. :)
Sounds good your route.
If you have the time, add the Petit Train Jaune in the Pyrenees.
And if you still have the time, maybe just add Krakow in Poland (Munich-Vienna-Krakow), but it might get a bit too much for 22 days.
Just some helpful links to get a first impression - of course there are much more connections available using the route planer:
https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
Copenhagen-Amsterdam: https://rail.cc/en/copenhagen-amsterdam-night-train/f3010
Or do it by day trains. Problem is that you have to pay for your country of residence which is Denmark I suppose?!
Maybe there are some special fares booking in advance as you will know your departure date as well in advance.
Amsterdam-Paris: https://rail.cc/en/amsterdam-paris-train/f1472
Paris-Petit Train Jaune-Perpignan-Nice:
By cheap night train down to the South: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/france/fr
More details: https://rail.cc/en/petit-train-jaune-latour-de-carol/f1343
Then from Perpignan by regional trains to Nice.
Skip Marseilles.
Nice-Milano: there are free IC trains. Via Ventigmillia by Regional train, then direct ICs.
https://rail.cc/en/train/marseille-to-milan
Milano-Florence-San Marino-Rome: https://rail.cc/en/rome-florence-munich-night-train/f3741
Munich-Prague: by day trains. Think about a short stop in Nürnberg (it is automatically on your way to Prague), a really big castle and the Youth hostel is inside of the castle.
Prague-Berlin: https://rail.cc/en/prague-berlin-train/f3360
Berlin via Malmö - Copenhagen: https://rail.cc/en/night-train/berlin-malmoe-en-300/58
Other option could be (but as I said, it might be too much):
Munich-Vienna: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/munich-budapest-en-463/55
or by free and direct day trains (Railjet).
or directly Rome-Vienna: https://rail.cc/en/rome-vienna-train/f1418
Vienna-Krakow: https://rail.cc/en/vienna-krakow-night-train/f1902
Krakow-Prague: https://rail.cc/en/krakow-prague-night-train/f3847
Prague-Berlin...... and back home.
Budapest is nice as well, Ljubljana and Zagreb too ... you see, really a lot to see... but you can do it on a second tour next year. :)
I hope all this will help you. And if you like our work, support it and buy your official InterRail passes via [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]
Thank you, Peter :)

Ok.. So if we stick to our decided route (excluding Marseille and not adding Krakow) what reservations or supplements will we have to make?? Also I'm thinking at the moment that it could be great to have a stop in Swiss, between Milan and Munich... Any suggestions to enjoy some scenic landscapes??

Concerning supplements and reservations just follow the links mentioned above.
There are all supplements listed.
Especially for night trains I recommend to buy them some days in advance if possible.
If you use day trains compare the schedule planer: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
To the reservation website: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation
In Switzerland I love Zurich - but it's my personal opinion. :)

We're going the same route, doing Normandie and Hitlers Kehlsteinhaus as well, off your route. Would'nt be much of an offspring for you guys either, and spectacular view wise.
