I am SO confused. I want to buy/reserve seat on Bernina Express from Tirano to St. Moritz. Is it Tirano or Tirano Stazione? Can I buy panoramic 1st class ticket for Tirano to St. Moritz and regular ticket from St. Moritz to Tirano?

Hi!

Where (= at what website) are you looking for your reservation?

There are regular trains and Bernina Express trains on this route. You can travel one way with Bernina Express (if you want to travel on the panoramic cars) and one way with a regular train - travel time overall is basically the same.
Personally I prefer the regular trains since you can open the windows.

Trying to buy on rhb.com and have tickets and seats in my shopping cart but it gives no time of departure or arrival.

rhb.com is not a railway website of any description.

on the real website https://shop.rhb.ch/en/bernina-express you have to choose an arrival/departure time before you go to picking seats and paying.

For tickets on normal trains you have to go to www.sbb.ch (also for normal trains from rhb)

Is there only 1 Bernina Express train from Tirano to St. Moritz in early May? I have no idea what time it leaves

if you don't confirm a train and seat it will issue unreserved tickets for the date you chose (in which case the Bernina Express surcharge won't be included). First class can get fully reserved well in advance - if the date is around easter you will be lucky to get anything

I have reserved seats in my shopping cart but it doesn't state the departure time. That is what I am confused about

You can see a timetable from both at www.fahrplanfelder.ch (table 950). The Bernina-express there is called PE. The regular trains are R.

the departure time will be what you chose, it doesn't just randomly reserve seats.

What price does it show (each)? In 1st class CHF28 is the one way fare for holders of a Swiss Half Price card, CHF56 is the normal one way fare. These do not include reservations.

There is the direct link where you can download the timetable : https://www.fahrplanfelder.ch/fileadmin/fap_pdf_fields/2023/950.pdf or https://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/traininfo.exe/en/129510/813761/913020/413340/80?ld=4343&protocol=https:&seqnr=2&ident=g9.02521943.1678534742&date=02.05.23&station_evaId=8300033&station_type=dep&currentReferrer=tp&rt=1&rtMode=DB-HYBRID&&time=10:06&currentJourneyClass=2& , the train number are by the way PE 972 .
