Hi!!
I have questions about which product I should to buy. I am Thai. However I have stayed in Norway since 4th Jan 2010 and will stay in Norway for 1 year. I've received the Norway's resisent permit. I plan to travel in Europoe during this summer. I want to start my trip at the late of June (maybe on 24th Jun). The product I'm interested is InterRail Global flexiPass valid 10 days within 22 days. Can I use this product. If not, what should I do.
Thank you!

Hi.

Starting from the 4th of July, you can travel with an InterRail ticket: https://rail.cc/en/interrail

Before you will have to buy an Eurail ticket (a bit more expensive, Interrail is simply the better solution): https://rail.cc/en/eurail

You always need your proof of residency or visa with you, showing that you already stayed 6 months in Norway on your first day of travel.
IMPORTANT:
If you buy an InterRail ticket via the shop mentioned above, fill in as COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE: NORWAY
And as the PASSPORT number the one of your THAI PASSPORT.

If you have some more questions, let me know.
Have a sunny trip, Peter :)

Hi - I'd just like to double check:

I have been an international student (from the US) living in Norway since August '09, so since I've satisfied the 6 months in Europe requirement I can legitimately buy an InterRail pass to travel this July and August, right?

Also, it doesn't matter when my residence permit for Norway expires (August 31st, 2010), since I plan to be travelling on the mainland, right? The only thing that matters is that I lived here for six months?

Thanks so much for your help!

Hi.

You are right. You can buy an InterRail pass. :)
Always have you residency permit for Norway with you.
It is no problem that your permit expires at the end of August during your travels. It only has to be still valid on the day your InterRail ticket starts.

Order you official InterRail pass via [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] - then you support directly our work).
Important:
- fill in as COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE: Norway
- as PASSPORT NUMBER the one of your US passport!

Have a sunny trip, Peter :)
