Hey all,

I'm going Interrailing in the summer with my boyfriend. The only thing is, I'm a guy too - we're a gay couple. We're doing the usual hostelling thing most of the trip, but in a couple of places we'd like to book a private room somewhere. I've read of instances of same-sex couples being refused private rooms in the UK, and wondered if this was likely to happen somewhere else. We were thinking mainly of Paris and Stockholm/Copenhagen (I know Scandinavia is very liberal, but you never know).

Thanks :)

Hi.
I am sure you won't have any problems. As there are as well a lot of heterosexual male friends traveling together using 2-bed-rooms.
Maybe check as well as there are often gay and lesbian hostels available in the big European cities.
One general information: often you will find cheaper rooms in hotels for two persons than 2-bed-rooms in hostels.
Peter :)
