Looking for someone amazing (July 2010)

Hello (:

I, Chloé, almost 18 year old french girl, would really really like to travel this summer. I've been obsessed with the idea of travelling and discovering new cultures /people /landscapes for a whole year now. Unfortunately the friend I was supposed to escape with let me down.
So if you :
*have a good sense of direction (because I get lost VERY easily, even in my own town) (which is pretty small),
*like to dream (or eat ice cream, or make garlands with daisies, or other stuff)
*are a little eco-conscious or critic towards the society we're living in,
*are at least a tiny bit special (well in my opinion everybody is, so...),

then I think I just fall in love with you. No wait, then I think we would get on well for a couple of weeks this summer.

The countries I'd love to visit are : eastern Europe (Poland, Czech Rep, Slovakia, Hungary, the Balkanes, the Baltic States...), Scandinavian countries (my absolute dream is Iceland of course, but sadly it's hard to get there by train), and so on. Well there are a lot of countries mentionned, but I don't think it'd be a good idea to visit them all in a 3 or 4 weeks trip (I don't even know if it's technically possible...), maybe just define a zone before leaving so that we can make the most of it. I am quite flexible but the essence of my plan is to avoid countries like France, Spain, Italy,... (not that I don't like them, uh)

French is my mother tongue but I master English and German pretty well. Also, I've been learning Spanish for 5 years.

I just would like to mention that clubbing all night long or getting drunk among dozens of girls whose hair are all peroxided and straightened is not exactly my type. But don't misunderstand me - I like to have fun, in an other way. I like to look at the stars after a tiring day. I like to have endless talks in the rain, I like to read, write, smile, clip newspapers.

And take photographs of the little rainbows in people's eyes.
