Hi,
I am new on the board so please be kind :D
My wife and I are beginning to plan a 3 week trip around Europe. We (originally) planned to spend 3 days in Amsterdam, 3 days in Prague, 3 days in Budapest followed by a week on the Dalmatian coast. From there we plan to take the ferry from Dubrovnik to Bari and then travel to Napoli, Rome, and end in Bologna.
We originally planned to buy a 22 day continuous Interrail pass. But after a bit of research we have found out that in Italy our train tickets will not cost more than about 350 euros for the both of us, the Croatian coast is not really accessible with trains, and from Prague to Budapest can be done for about 80 euros per person.
As it stands the 22 day pass seems a waste of money. Can anyone suggest a similar itinerary that may put better use of the pass, or alternatively, suggest a lesser pass that may fit our itinerary better?
Thanks in advance!

Hi.
If you want to save money, use the 10 in 22 days pass.
But if you found a cheaper solution than InterRail, simply do it.
Of course you might find some tickets which are really cheap, but you have to book in advance and will loose your flexibility.
In general: InterRail is always the cheaper solution - as supplements (high speed trains and night trains) has to be paid as well for normal ticket travelers.
