Hi!
Thought someone might help me plan the most efficient way to get in and out of those cities. My current schedule goes like this:

06-14 Warsaw -Vienna - Zagreb 21:10-12:59
Day in Zagreb
06-15 Zagreb - Split 23:25 - 08:00
06-19 Split - Zagreb 16:00 - 00:45
06-20 Zagreb - Insbruck 18:14 - 03:33

And then I stopped, because I noticed a huge layover in Zagreb (19 to 20). So is there any other way of getting from Zagreb To Granada, Spain? One thing though, I need at least two days in Split. Also - I'm willing to travel as many miles as necessary to get the cost-efficient option.

Oh, and - I could definitely use a power socket while travelling. Would it be worth buying 1st class pass in this case?
Thank you for your answers :)

Hi.

Split-Zagreb: https://rail.cc/en/night-train/zagreb-split-b821/129

Use the schedule planer and the option without HST to find good connections, as there are a lot available:
https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route

And think about using this route from Zagreb via Ljubljana to Italy. It is not mentioned in the schedule planers:
https://rail.cc/en/zagreb-ljubljana-train/f3919
https://rail.cc/en/ljubljana-venice-train/f3663

An other option:

Zagreb Glavni Kolod. Dep: 2115 | night train: https://rail.cc/en/zagreb-munich-train/f3999
München Hbf Arr: 0615

From there either by direct TGV train to save time (supplement EUR 5) or this free option:
München Hbf Dep: 0713 | free EC train
Zürich HB Arr: 1144

Zürich HB Dep: 1234 | free IC train
Basel SBB Arr: 1327

Basel SBB Dep: 1343 | free Regional train
Mulhouse Ville Arr: 1418

Mulhouse Ville Dep: 1555 | free Regional train
Belfort Arr: 1628

Belfort Dep: 1650 | free Fast train
Paris Est Arr: 2045

Continue by Metro 5 direction Place d'Italie - EUR 1,60

Paris Austerlitz Dep: 2310 | night train: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/france/fr
Irun Arr: 0736

Irun Dep: 0825 | ALS (Alaris train): supplement EUR 6,50 | https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/spain/es
Madrid-Chamartin Arr: 1400

Madrid-Chamartin - Madrid-Puerta de Atocha: by local train

Madrid-Puerta de Atocha Dep: 1705 | ATR (Altaria train): supplement EUR 6,50 | https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/spain/es
Granada Arr: 2130

About a power socket... in the 1st class wagons you should have electricity on this connection.
If you want to support our project, buy your official InterRail pass at [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]
Thank you, Peter :)
