I was looking at getting a 10 days in 22 day ticket, this is the first time im doing anything like this and have never gone travelling before.
The route I was looking at involved going from paris to amsterdam, berlin, prague, munich, venice, rome then fly back from rome however turns out its not that cheap to do that.
Looked at the eurostar and turns out can get it for london to paris return around 70 pounds then I can activate my ticket from paris and be in paris a couple of days before hand.
Wanted to check things over about it really, I wasnt sure whether people found it better to do less for longer or the other way round and were there places people recommend around that route or ways to do the route to make things better or good hostels and things like that.
I also heard something about coach surfing? Wondering if that is actually sensible and safe I guess.
I also thought about going from Paris to nice down to rome then up through germany and holland then back to paris to travel home.
Essentially Im nervous and dont really know what to do so the apologies for the really long winded and stupid post but would like some help please.
Thanks a lot.

Hi.
I recommend with a 10 in 22 to visit at least 5 or 6 cities. Then the InterRail pass is definitely worth to use.
For example:
Paris-Nice-Rome-Venice-Munich-Prague-Berlin-Amsterdam-Paris.
Some examples (there are of curse much more connections available. Just use the route planer: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route )
Paris-Nice: by day train
Nice-Rome: day train as well: https://rail.cc/en/train/marseille-to-milan
Rome-Venice: day train - try to avoid the expensive Eurostar Italia trains (see schedule planer above)
Venice-Munich: https://rail.cc/en/night-train/venice-munich-cnl40236/36
Munich-Prague: free direct day trains (journey time~6 hours)
Prague-Berlin: https://rail.cc/en/prague-berlin-train/f3360
Berlin-Amsterdam: https://rail.cc/en/berlin-amsterdam-train/f2407
Amsterdam-Paris: https://rail.cc/en/amsterdam-paris-train/f1472
I hope this will help. If you want to support our work, buy your official InterRail pass at [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] ... thank you. :)
