When buying a CNL ticket from Amsterdam to Munich I followed the instructions on this website and selected the book only extra charge button. I was able to buy the sleeper deluxe cabin for one at the supplemental fare of 100 euros. Now I'm in the process of buying the Eurail pass. Does the Eurail pass have to include Benelux as one of the countries? I'm just passing thru the netherlands to get to Austria with several stops in Germany and it would be more cost effective to me to purchase a Austria-Germany regional pass. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi.

If you cross a country, you need a pass for. you have to buy an extra pass for Benelux.
But you can do it as well this way:

Buy a normal train ticket from Amsterdam to Emmerich (border station in Germany for the night train) - should be something about ~ EUR 30 and from there use your Eurail ticket. Maybe it's cheaper than adding Benelux?!
Ask at the railway station of Amsterdam for such a ticket - as you have already a reservation you should easily get it.

And if you like our forum and all the information here, support it and buy your ticket via:

The price is the same for you - but we get a little commission for all our work. Thank you. :)
