Hi, a group of us was hoping to do a 10 in 22 days pass, with theses cities. Is this a good use of time, what are the timetables and how would we go about it.

It is our first time eurorailing so we really have no idea if this is achievable, good value for money, and whether or not these destinations are any good? :'(

Thanks for any advice that any of you can give. :D

Hi.

It depends on how many time you have in total. With the 10 in 22 you still can add some destinations. But it is a nice route you've chosen.

For general time schedules read here: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
For supplements here: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation
And for night trains check the country topics of the forum: https://rail.cc/en/countries

Concerning your route, maybe think about having only a day stop in Venice as it is really expensive. Better to add places like Lake Balaton (Siofok - Hungary) or a stop in Slovenia (Ljubljana, Lake Bled). Also you can cross Croatia - Zagreb or Rijeka at the coast with a short trip to the islands of Krk or Cres.
And Prague or Belgrade is as well nice to have a stop.

Amsterdam-Berlin: https://rail.cc/en/amsterdam-berlin-train/f2346

Berlin-Krakow: https://rail.cc/en/berlin-krakow-gdansk-night-train/f1407
(I definitely recommend a stop in Prague - and then to continue from there by night train to Krakow)

Krakow-Budapest: https://rail.cc/en/krakow-budapest-night-train/f3305

Budapest-Vienna: https://rail.cc/en/budapest-vienna-munich-night-train/f1747

Vienna-Venice: https://rail.cc/en/vienna-venice-night-train/f3671

Venice-Rome: day trains - pay attention to Italian supplements: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/italy/it

An other route example could be:
Amsterdam - Berlin - Prague - Krakow - Vienna - Budapest - Lake Balaton - Zagreb - Rijeka - Ljubljana - Venice - Rome

As soon as you know the places you want to stay, let me know and I can give you more details.
