Hi Snoopy.

Some links which should help you...

General train scheduleshttps://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route

Paris-Amsterdam: https://rail.cc/en/train/paris-to-amsterdam

Amsterdam-Cologne: free direct ICE trains (travel time: ~ 2 hours)

Cologne-Berlin: free day trains (IC, ICE)

Berlin-Prague: https://rail.cc/en/berlin-prague-train/f3361

Prague-Vienna: https://rail.cc/en/prague-vienna-night-train/f1677

Vienna-Ljubljana: several free day train connections (also direct ones). Use the schedule planer mentioned above.

Ljubljana-Zagreb: https://rail.cc/en/ljubljana-zagreb-train/f4001

Zagreb-Sarajevo: https://rail.cc/en/zagreb-sarajevo-train/f4313

Sarajevo-Dubrovnik-Ploce:
You do not have a direct rail connection to Dubrovnik and Ploce. Closest rail station is Split.
But in Croatia you have a very good bus network and cheap fares: https://rail.cc/en/croatia-bus-connections/f2875

To travel back to Central Europe either start from Split by train or by ferry from Dubrovnik to Italy:
https://rail.cc/en/ferry-croatia-italy/f2339

If you like the information at our forum, support it an buy your official InterRail pass at [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] ... thank you! :)

Peter :)

Hi!

Sarajevo dep 1027 | 2120
Zagreb arr 2005 | 0643
Zagreb dep 2250 | 0750
Split arr 0656 | 1349

https://rail.cc/en/night-train/zagreb-split-b821/129

You will need a ~3€ reservation for the day train Zagreb - Split. On the night train there would be sleeper accomodation available for which you would need an additional supplement.

Cheers Flo but the journey really looks to be really long. Was really wanting to do Zagreb, Sarajevo and Dubrovnik in that order as i was going to get a flight from Dubrovnik back to the UK. Is there a suitable bus link for Sarajevo to Dubrovnik?

Hi.
I know about 1 direct bus per day from Sarajevo to Dubrovnik, leaving in the morning. Journey time 5-6 hours. Fare: ~20-25 EUR.

I think the 10 in 22 should fit, especially using the rule for night trains:
