Hi, myself and a friend are hoping to get the 22 day ticket and do the following route;

Fly to Amsterdam
Brussels
Paris
Nice/Marseilles (whichever is nicest/easiest with trains)
Rome
Venice (just a quick stop, a day or so)
Salzburg (quick-ish stop again)
Berlin
Copenhagen

If anyone has any recommendations for accommodation I'd be very grateful. We're looking at hostels or cheap hotels. Details and prices would be fab! Thank you so much! I will of course post reviews to help others when I return from my trip in August! :)

I have been to Oops in Paris which was quite OK but has no lockers on the rooms. In Nice I was in the HI Hostel Mont Boron which was also really OK with a nice rooftop terrace including beautiful views over Nice.

I recommend you to use [ux]https://rail.shop/hostelworld[/ux] where you will find lots of hostels including reviews. :)

I've stayed at the Circus hostel in Berlin. It's not too far from the city centre and had free wifi and safe luggage storage during the day, both of which were important for me. It was about 3 years ago, but I imagine it hasn't changed much.
