Hi im of for a week in benalux next week and ive got a 4 day pass. Im planning on going from
Brugge to Antwerp
Antwerp to Amsterdamn (via intercity not thayls)
Amsterdamn to Luxembourg (again via intetrcity)
and then Luxembourg to Brussels.

i know reservations are not compulsory but i wanted to know what the chances of these trains filling up are, all the planned trains are around mid-day or mid-afternoon. would it be best to book some when we get to Brussels, or will it be ok to keep our options open and save the €20.

thanks
Richard

Hi Richard.

Save the EUR 20 and spent them for a good meal. :)
I traveled a lot in Benelux and always got a seat in the IC trains especially traveling alone.
If possible, use one of the last wagons, there more free seats.

Peter :)

There are no seat reservations available for domestic trains in Belgium. Trains, especially in peak times, can be quite full.
