Hi Guys,

Me and two friends are planning on taking the above route in the summer, mid to the end of august.

We have two weeks so are looking at getting the 15 days continuous pass.

we want to spend 3 days in Amsterdam and Krakow so that only leaves us a couple of days in every other location.

I've looked at overnight travelling for most of the journey to allow us to spend the max amount of time in each place which leads to the question, do you think were trying to squeeze too much in here?

Is there any alternatives in the countries we have planned (or even nearby) that would be worth changing the plan for? were open to suggestions, I have been Prague twice though so not there although most routes ive seen here that are similar seem to go through.

Secondly, is travelling in the summer going to affect our plans with busier trains? We dont really have any room for change at the moment and will fly home so need to end up nearish an airport. How (un)likely is it that we couldnt get a reservation for a night train?

Thanks,
Joe

Hi Joe.

You should be able to reserve all trains in Amsterdam, at least in Berlin.
If you don't get a reservation for one of the night trains you want to use, you will be able to use day trains and find your way to the final destinations.

The night train Amsterdam-Berlin is possible to reserve online in advance:
