Hi

I am hoping that someone can help. I am traveling form Zagreb to Split in July and would like some more info on the overnight train. There seems to be limited info on the web. I would like to know the following

a) are there 2 berth cabins on this train
b) how much does it cost to buy a single ticket without an interail pass?
c)can I buy this ticket in advance anywhere?
d) if I leave buying this ticket until I get to Zagreb, is it going to cost me a fortune?
e)is there a buffet car/bar on this service?

Thanks in advance for your help on this one.

Hi!

a) You will find sleeper cars on all night services from Zagreb to Split. The regular all-year service leaves Zagreb gl kol at 2250 and arrives in Rijeka at 0656, train number is 825. As the sleeper cars should be of standard european type there will certainly be two-berth compartments.
b) Since we are a dedicated InterRail forum I cant help you out on that one, sorry.
c) You should get both regular ticket as well as the (InterRail) reservation at all staffed stations is Croatia as well as in bigger stations abroad - but especially in Western European countries you are likely to pay more than directly in Croatia.
d) No.
e) No.
