Extremely difficult. The best way is to fly - probably via Istanbul. Visas will be important and if you have a Russian passport may not be possible. Do not fly/bus to Turkey and try to get a train from there, the unreliable connection to Bulgaria has closed again. There may be a ferry from Georgia to Bulgaria.

As said so many times that also mr steve should know: this site has all info on travel overland+sea from UK (thus all of EUR) to about all countries: seat61.com. What many people always asking about these trainy/poezdy etc not seem to realise is that often the bus is a very viable alternative. if really not wanting to fly.

I do know seat61 - but the main problem here is likely to be the passport requiring visas and seat61 cannot answer that. And the visa problem is made worse if travelling overland because it will involve more countries before reaching Schengen zone. With a problem passport flying cuts out the transit visas on the route.
