Hey,
I'm currently in Australia and i've booked my journey home via japan and russia then onto Poland where i'm meeting a friend and then we'll continue home. The plan is to go from Warsaw-Krakow-Vienna-Salzburg-Prague-Berlin-Brussels and finally Amsterdam before catching the ferry back to England. The plan is to buy one of the inter rail tickets as i think its a pretty good deal! I was just loking for some advice on the destinations and i'm open to new ideas, especially new destination. I'm meeting my friend in Warsaw on July 8th and then we have to be back in England for around July 24th...ish! Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Matt

hi Matt.
so either the 10 in 22 days or the 15 days continuous Global passes would be the best solution for you.

about your route... think about adding Budapest.

Warszawa-Krakow: https://rail.cc/en/gdansk-warsaw-krakow-zakopane-night-train/f3485
Day trip to Auschwitz.

Krakow-Budapest: https://rail.cc/en/krakow-budapest-night-train/f3305

Budapest-Vienna: https://rail.cc/en/budapest-vienna-munich-train-railje/f4070

Vienna-Prague: https://rail.cc/en/night-train/vienna-berlin-en-60406/45
Or via Salzburg to Munich (use the link above Budapest-Vienna-Munich) and then up to Prague.

Prague-Berlin: https://rail.cc/en/prague-berlin-train/f3360

Berlin-Amsterdam: https://rail.cc/en/berlin-amsterdam-train/f2407

Amsterdam-Brussels: https://rail.cc/en/amsterdam-brussels-train-thalys/f3991

Brussels-Hoek van Holland-ferry to the UK: https://rail.cc/en/ferry-netherlands-england/f1659
Bruessels-Rotterdam by free IC trains.

And don't hesitate to ask if you have some more questions concerning your route. :)
Greetings to Australia.

Thanks again Peter. I have got another couple of questions actually. Are night trains included in the rail pass and also which routes run night trains. I might work it so we take quite a few night trains, that way we should be able to see more places but also save on accommodation (thats if the night trains are included in the pass.

I'm sure i'll have a few more questions, i just need to think of them first. I've got the Europe on a Shoestring book on order so once i've had a look through that more questions should pop into my head.

Oh, if its possible and if you have time do you think you could just give a short list of things to do in the countries/cities i've listed. I've already got a list compiled but if you know any hidden gems i'd love to know about them.

Cheers,
Matt

Just follow the links Peter posted in his first post and you will find a lot of information about night trains between each city you are going to. :)
Night trains are of course included in InterRail but usually you will have to get an additional reservation/supplement for sleeping accomodation - just like you would have to do if you were travelling with regular tickets.

Gotta leave for Uni now but I can give you a few hints for some cities later.

about city details... we will have it in the new version of the website starting in about 3 weeks. better to spent my time now on programming than listing all details I have here. I hope you understand it. Peter :)
