Thank you for reading this!

I'm in a bit of a pickle...

I'm planning a trip from Paris to Stockholm and I'm not sure whether it is worth buying the IR pass and I'm not sure which one I would be able to buy.

These are my dates...

Paris > Cologne (17th June)
Cologne > Hamburg (arrive 18th June)
((Hurricane Festival (18 - 21st June))
Hamburg > Copenhagen (22nd June)
Copenhagen > Stockholm (25th June)

Would I be eligible for the cheapest 5 in 10 days pass or would I have to go for something more expensive.

I understand I would have to pay a supplement fare or whatever, but that would only be from Paris to Cologne right??

Can I make any of these seat reservations online? How much should I budget for?

I know these are really big questions but if anyone has a vague answer please help!

Thank You in advance!

Hi.

The 5 in 10 days InterRail Global Pass will be the cheapest way for you.

Some information about the supplements on your tour.

Paris-Cologne: you can use the fast THALYS train (high supplement) or a free and slower connection.
Read here: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/thalys/41
You will have to buy the supplement for a THALYS train at a station (in Paris for example).

Cologne-Hamburg: several FREE and direct IC trains - just jump in a train, sit down, that's it. Journey time: 4 hours.

Hamburg-Copenhagen: all trains are free on this route.

Copenhagen-Stockholm: if you use the X2000 trains, you will have to pay a supplement:

And if you want to support our project and this answer, buy your official InterRail pass at [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]
Thank you.
