There are two routes ATHENS to PRAGUE.

Currently I don't have any up to date information concerning the night train Athens-Sofia. So have a look on this solution.

Should have 2nd class seats on the route Thessaloniki to Sofia.
As traveler with your country of residence GREECE: you have to start your InterRail tour in [b]Kulata[/b] where the train will be at 0210 - the Bulgarian border station. As you will need a normal train ticket from [b]Athens to Kulata[/b] - see rule of the country of residence.

There is a direct couchette car from Thessaloniki to Prague, going 12.6-20.9. on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays - departure 17:05, arrival 22:21 second day.
On the other days you have to change in Beograd. The timetable is same as above. From Thessaloniki to Beograd with Hellas Express, from Beograd to Prague with EC Avala.

Both variants are faster than the journey via Sofia.
