Hi I will be starting my trip in the UK (my home country) and travelling to Bruges.

If I get the ferry to the Netherlands, how do I travel to Bruges from there, and how much will it cost? I will not start using my rail card until I leave Bruges to make the most of my travel days

Is it quicker and easier and cheaper to do this:

Uk - Bruges - Amsterdam - Munich

or this:

Uk - Amsterdam - Bruges - Munich

Thanks in advance

Hi.

Ferry link: https://rail.cc/blog/from-london-to-amsterdam-with-the-dutchflyer/

Hoek van Holland (close to Rotterdam) is just in the middle between Bruges and Amsterdam.
I recommend you first to travel to Bruges, from there to Amsterdam. As you have a direct and cheap night train Amsterdam to Munich: https://rail.cc/en/amsterdam-munich-night-train/f3745

Thee fare Hoek van Holland to Amsterdam is about EUR 16. It should be the same to Bruges - something around a maximum of EUR 20.

Peter :)
