Hello!
We're two Greeks and we want to start our first interrail trip from Norway :) We are thinking of buying the 10-in-22 days ticket, or the 30-days one, travel through Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, France and end up in Barcelona. We mainly want to visit Copenhagen, Amsterdam and Bruges... But we also want to see more places during our trip apart from the must ones, like Amsterdam, Paris etc... And it's quite difficult for us deciding in which places we want to stop because we don't really know which places are the most interesting in every country.. :)

So, if you have any suggestions for us, an example of a nice route from Norway to Spain, it would really help us!!!
Thanks anyway!!!

Hi.

Some thoughts of myself... if you love nature, travel first up to the North.

Oslo - Trondheim: https://rail.cc/en/oslo-trondheim-night-train/f3838

Trondheim - Bodo: https://rail.cc/en/trondheim-bodoe-night-train/f3839

Bodo - Narvik: https://rail.cc/en/bodoe-narvik-hurtigruten-lofoten-bus/f1285

Narvik - Gällivare: by day train ...

Gällivare - to the South by the Inlandsbanan: https://rail.cc/en/inlandsbanan/f1333
Great nature!

Stockholm - Copenhagen: https://rail.cc/en/stockholm-copenhagen-kobenhavn-train/f4060

Copenhagen - Malmö: less than 1 hour.
In Malmö you will find a lot of students and night life is good.

Malmö - Berlin: https://rail.cc/en/berlin-night-express-sweden-berlin/f1186

Berlin - Amsterdam: https://rail.cc/en/berlin-amsterdam-train/f2407

and so on ... :)

Hey Peter!
Thanks for your quick and detailed answer :)
If we finally decide to do this, we suppose it will be better for us to buy the 30days pass... right?

Any others suggestions for the netherlands-belgium-france-spain trip??
If anybody has visited an amazing less-known place somewhere around there, please let us know!!!

thanks again

ps:btw Peter, the trains that you suggested are included in the 10/22 pass? Or will we have to pay any additional charges on some of them?

The trains are included. You will have to pay a supplement depending of the kind of compartment (bed or seat) you want to have using the night trains.
Just click the links and you will find the details.
Especially in Scandinavia it is often worth to sleep in a train, as it is cheaper than a hostel.

Always keep in mind: on some trains you will have to pay supplements.

Information about night trains - and ways to avoid the supplements are at the country topics of our forum .
