i am going to Italy in july and was wondering whether i can buy the pass in any train stations in Milan?

i realise i have to pay supplements for the quicker train services such as the eurostar HST, and the intercity trains... could anybody advise me of prices for this? also is making a compulsory seat reservation extra to the cost of the pass and supplement?

cheers,
Dan

Hi

You should be able to buy an IR ticket at any of the main Milan train stations. The suppliments include any compulsory seat reservation so you dont need to pay anything on top. Italian suppliments are listed here https://rail.cc/en/train-type/italy/it

thanks very much.

BTW. do you purchase the passes from the normal ticket kiosks or is there a dedicated pass seller?

hi.
buy it at a normal ticket window. if possible (and if existing), try an international one as they speak English.
it is also possible to order online - express delivery within 48 hours on business days via: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]
you support at the same time our work at the forum and all the answers.
