Hi I'm travelling from Berlin to Vienna
Any inspiration on where to visit, what to do in Berlin. I' think I plan to travel from here to Krakow before venturing from there to Vienna
What is this journey like?
Anyone done it before ? I'm not sure what to expect from this leg of my route
Thanks in advance

Hi,
Berlin is a unique city, once divided between east and west - so it's the best place to learn something about that times, if that things interest you at all. Berlin has several great museums about it - Checkpoint Charlie, DDR museum, Berlin story, Stasi museum, probably I forgot something. And plenty of other great places - Bundestag, Potsdam palace, Gedachtnis-Kirche and so on.
Direct train to Krakow is a very long day ride, so I'd rather take some indirect route using night train(s) - via Prague or Vienna or Szczecin.
