My cousin and I are going interrailing for the first time this summer! :)
Starting in Lisbon and ending in oslo.
We want to visit this places:
Lisboa - Madrid - Barcelona - Milano - Venezia - Bern - Paris - Amsterdam - Hamburg (and from Hamburg to our home country Norway, Oslo)

We are going to travel 3-4 weeks, from 27.06.10.
Do you think this is enough time to visit these places?
Do you have any tips and guidelines?

Thanks 8)

Hi,

Yes, you have enough time, at least to taste all of those cities. Your best choice is probably 10-in-22-days pass (unless you want to make numerous day excursions from your base cities - in this case 22 days continuous pass can be better).

In both cases your pass should begin on the day of your departure from Lisbon - which means that you have to finish your trip 21 days later. If you want to save one day (assuming that you travel from Lisbon to Madrid with night train departing 22.30), you'll have to buy normal ticket from Lisbon to Abrantes (where this train calls shortly after midnight) and use InterRail only from there. Then the validity of your pass should start one day later, on the day of your arrival in Madrid.

If you have some specific questions - please ask )

Hi.

And some links which might help you...

Lisbon-Madrid: https://rail.cc/en/train/lisbon-to-madrid

Madrid-Barcelona:
By day train with an AVE - supplement EUR 10: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/spain/es
Night: https://rail.cc/en/night-train/madrid-barcelona-estr-370/392

Barcelona-Milano:
Direct night train: https://rail.cc/en/train/barcelona-to-milan
Trough the Pyrenees (I recommend): https://rail.cc/blog/little-yellow-train-video/
Traveling along the French coast (2 days):

https://rail.cc/en/nice/accommodation/c
https://rail.cc/en/train/marseille-to-milan

Milano-Venezia:
Fastest connection by EUROSTAR ITALIA trains - supplement EUR 10:
https://rail.cc/en/train-type/italy/it

Venezia-Bern:
Do it by day trains to see a bit of the Alps.
Use the schedule planer: https://rail.cc/en/search-train-route
And select without HST - so you can avoid the Eurostar Italia trains.

Bern-Paris:
There is one direct TGV in the morning, but in most cases you will have to travel by free train (I or IR) to Basel and from there by TGV to Paris.
Supplement for the TGV Lyra: EUR 5

Paris-Amsterdam:
