Hi, we are planning on doing this route:

Paris
Amsterdam
Copenhagen
Stockholm
Berlin
Switzerland (not sure where yet)
Venice
Rome.

Do you think this could be done on a 15 day pass?

for the Stockholm to Berlin journey i am thinking of taking Berlin night express. I'd just like to know the best way to get from Stockholm to Malmö

thank you :D

Hi.

Yes it should be possible with an InterRail Global - 15 day continuous pass.

Day 1
Paris - Amsterdam: https://rail.cc/en/train/paris-to-amsterdam

Day 2
Amsterdam - Copenhagen: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/amsterdam-copenhagen-cnl40457/10

Day 3
Copenhagen - Stockholm: from Copenhagen to Malmö, then use an X2000 train or the night train to Stockholm.
It is worth to stay one evening in Malmö as there are a lot of students and bars.

Day 4/5
Stockholm-Malmö-Berlin: like mentioned above.
From Lund/Malmö use the cheap and good night train directly to Berlin. The train will use a ferry (either you sleep inside or you have a beer on deck):
https://rail.cc/en/berlin-night-express-sweden-berlin/f1186

Day 6
Berlin-Switzerland: by free ICE day train. I can recommend Zürich for example, then cross the Alps to Italy.
Or Berlin to Switzerland by CNL night train: https://rail.cc/en/berlin-basel-zurich-night-train/f3755

Day 7
Switzerland-Venice. Pay attention to supplements in Italian trains: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/italy/it

Day 8
Venice-Rome.

So you will have in total 8 travel days.

If using the rule of 1900 for night trains ( https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train ) you can think about the InterRail Global Pass - 10 travel days in a period of 22 days (10 in 22) as well.

I hope this will help you and if you want to support our forum , buy your official Interrail pass at our partner [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]

Peter :)
