Hey guys!
I live in Ireland and im planning a trip to europe this summer. To keep things as flexible as possible I want to be able to get back to ireland whenever i feel like it so im not booking a flight home. I need to know is it possible to get to hollyhead in Wales from Europe with the interrail ticket? If not, could you tell me what the cheapest ferry back to Ireland from France would be?
Also, a while ago I found a great link on this site for Route Planner, this site that had every train schedule in europe, but i've lost the link now. Could you send it to me again??
Thanks very much!

There are about 5 direct services from London to Holyhead a day, more if you change.
Mainland Europe to London - https://rail.cc/en/ferry-london-paris-england-france/f1222
Was this the link you were looking for? https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route

Hi, the cheapest way from France or other place on the continent will most probably be Ryanair or Aer Lingus, if you book at least some days in advance. If you go via UK, you'll have to pay for both sea crossings and probably some night accomodation along the route, as well as probably using more InterRail days if you are on flexi-pass.

Like SiDUDe wrote, there are regular trains to Holyhead by train which often connect with the ferries leaving there to Dublin/Dun Laoghaire. The railway station is litterally in the fery terminal. :)
When starting on mainland Europe (not too far awy from the Channel though) the trip back to Ireland is doable in a day if you use the night ferry at around 2am from Holyhead. There's a train from Chester with connections from London and other cities that arrives just in time to get this ferry.
You'll also get a 30% discount on IrishFerries with your InterRail ticket. You'll have to book onlie and pay thefull fare first and then get the discount back on your bank acount.
