Hi Peter,
Are the prices you quoted for a double sleeper, per person or for the whole compartment?
Me and my girlfriend are travelling shortly and our first night train is from Prague to krakow, so was wondering if the double sleeper is 30 euro per person or 30 euro between 2 people so 15 euros each?
thanks in advance simon and becke

Hi Simon and Becke.
Prices are always per person. It is not like in hotels where you often pay per room.
Have a sunny trip, Peter :)

Hello,
I hope to take this night train on July 11, 2010, without a rail pass. Can this ticket be bought at the train station in Barcelona?
Also I am wondering about the risk of the train selling out. If I arrive in Barcelona on June 30 (and am able to get to the train station that day), should that be far enough in advance to secure 2 tickets/reservations in a 2-berth compartment?
Thank you for any advice!

Hi Michelle!
Honestly, I am really sure that you get a ticket for that train in Barcelona Sants without problems...but I cant tell 100%. :| Maybe it is better to try along your way to Praha, for instance somewhere in Switzerland or Germany.

Hi.
Usually you will get a seat.
But I recommend you a couchette (6 persone - EUR 13) for this night train where you can lock the door - as for theft, especially in the summer months.
Peter :)

Hi!
You cant reserve this online; you'll have to do it directly at a railway station.

Kassy10: Late answer, but if it can someone else help...
You can\'t buy reservation for this train online, but you can see online how much is this train booked out for specific day. Here is the guide.
At Czech Railways eshop site - [ux]https://rail.shop/cd[/ux] - in section Czech Republic by Train you have to select Ticket, Reservation and submit by Buy Ticket button. Then you fill in From: Prague, To: Buhumín (last train station in Czech republic on your way), Time: 21:00 and select the date of your interest. After pressing Select on the train R 433 Šírava, you will see the page for buying domestic ticket. You shuld select the tab Only reservation and then the link Select your seat. Now, you will see the booking status of whole train, every carriage including couchettes. Booked seats/couchettes are maked red.
I hope that can help you decide which time before the way you shuld book you seats. ;-)

Hi Zhelva.
Thanks for this update. :)
Additional information: you can book now the reservations for this connection online in our NEW railcc shop:
https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation
At least the standard seats. Sometimes also couchettes. The new system gets better from day to day. :)

Where can I book this other international tickets sooner then? Vienna? Any of the others before is possible?

Every station from Zagreb onwards (watch out for international services counter). Should be as well possible at the large Italian stations, although you might have to queue a bit.
