Hello!
I've got a question about train no. 3630 (it goes from Cerbere to Paris Austerlitz). Lady who works in a cash desk says there is no free places for Interrail (I need a seat reservation for this train), and she obviously doesn't want to sell me the seat. In this case I want to ask you, if this is similar situation as in TGV trains, which doesn't have any seats for Interrail, and I should just go to the machine and buy a seat reservation for 1,5 euro? I honestly don't mind sitting on the floor :) )
Plus 2nd question: are there ANY places for Interrail holders in train ICE 9559 (Paris - Mannheim)?
If possible, please, answer as soon as possible.
Cheers!

Hi!
Well, I'd say just try your luck with the 1,50 euro reservation from the machine. Though I have no personal experience doing so. ;)
The 9559 certainly has places for InterRail, question is if they are still available when you need them...
Out of curiosity: Why so you want to go to Paris with the Corail Téoz? A TGV via Nimes would be considerably faster; but you probably know that anyway. ;) Or are you making a stop in between and dont want to get of at Paris?

EDIT: Oh, now that I read the topic title again, its clear...you are going Brive - Paris... :os Am I right that you want to transfer from Teoz to ICE in Paris? If so, take the Metro line 5...goes directly from Gare d'Austerlitz to Gare de l'Est...connection time is short, but doable. :)

Actually not Brive but Rodez where I am right now. Any ideas? :)
BTW, where the feck can I check (or even: buy) online if it's still possible to buy seat for TGV? Accidentally I found such a website, but now I don't have possibility to re-found it (I'm away from home, I use my friend's computer).
I just found my way away: Rodez - Toulouse (RegionalExpress, no need of seat reserv.), Toulouse - Nimes (TGV), Nimes - Paris (TGV as well). Any ideas where to buy it online? Unfortunately, I'm leaving on Saturday, so it's short period on time. :/
I could go to Toulouse and buy the seat from the machine, but when I was coming here to France, I so a ticket inspector giving 700 euro (!!!) fine to a woman who had wrong ticket... ||

Is there no ticket office at Gare de Rodez?
Do you need this connecting TGV service Paris - Mannheim the same evening? If not, here would be a possible connection to Paris without supplements...not very good but you'd make it at least to Paris:
Rodez 0648 - 0914 Brive la Gaillarde
Brive la Gaillarde 1240 - 1357 Limoges
Limoges 1638 - 2000 Les Aubrais-Orléans
Les Aubrais-Orléans 2006 - 2105 Paris Austerlitz
Since I'm traveling myself at the moment it's kinda hard to find good informations for you, but maybe I can find you another alternative.
The site you probably meant is: voyages-sncf.com :)

Finally I booked a ticket for night train from Paris to Berlin plus I decided to go to Paris through Toulouse and Nimes, both TGV. I'm gonna use this link: [ux]https://rail.shop/sncf/reservation[/ux]
Thanks for your time!
If you come to Poland and need help just let me know, I'll help.

Finally, I'm in Poland since Sunday ;-) Everything worked well, even the ticket controller in Polish train said that if I've got a reservation for train that started in Germany, I don't have to buy the ticket (I'm resident of Poland).
TGV method with 1,50 Euro reservation in peak period also worked well.
Thanks a lot, and one more time flow: if you're in Poland and need help with the trains (or you're just around Katowice and want to have a beer), let me know, I'll see what I can do ;-)
