Hi,

I was planning on getting the ferry connection from Split to Ancona. I have then been having difficulty finding train connections from Ancona, I was wondering if anyone has any idea of where to go after Ancona. We want to finish in Rome and ideally visit Florence too, but a stop off inbetween Ancona and Florence would be fine. Any help is appreciated.

I'd suggest Ravenna, Assisi or Perugia - though I havent visited them yet, I only heard good things about them. :)
