My friend and I are going interrailing this summer. Our proposed start date is June 27th for one month. I am just not sure how long 'one month' is.

Do we have to say exactly what day we are going to start when we buy the interrail pass? Is a month 28 days, 30 days, 31 days, or what? Please assist.

Thanks in advance.

Hi ...

ONE month is either 28, 29, 30 or 31 days - it depends on which one you travel.

Some examples:

Starting: 25/05/2010 (00:01h in the morning) | Valid until: 24/06/2010 (23:59h at night) = 31 days

Starting: 19/02/2011 (00:01h in the morning) | Valid until: 18/03/2011 (23:59h at night) = 28 days
...

And yes, you will have to fill in the exact starting day of your ticket when you buy it.
For the tickets 10 days in 22 days and so on, you have to select as well the starting date, but the 10 travel days can be filled in manually.

Peter :)
