I will be interrailing this summer with a friend. We hope to travel by night train from Brussels to Munich. Is there a direct train or what is the best way to do this?
Thanks in advance

Hi...
You have the following options (I selected the ones with only one change) - there is no direct night train.
Always have a look at the schedules planer where you will find connections:
https://rail.cc/en/search-train-route
And as well on the country topics of the forum, where all night trains and special day train connections are listed.
DAY TRAIN:
Bruxelles-Midi Dep: 0755 | free ICE train
Köln Hbf Arr: 0947
Köln Hbf Dep: 0955 | free ICE train
München Hbf Arr: 1433
Bruxelles-Midi Dep: 1225 | free ICE train
Köln Hbf Arr: 1415
Köln Hbf Dep: 1427 | free ICE train
München Hbf Arr: 1905
Avoid using connections using THALYS trains:

NIGHT TRAIN:
Bruxelles-Midi Dep: 1718 | free IC train
Rotterdam Centraal Arr: 1906
Rotterdam Centraal Dep: 1920 | free IC train
Utrecht Centraal Arr: 1958
Utrecht Centraal Dep: 2101 | CNL night train: https://rail.cc/en/amsterdam-munich-night-train/f3745
München Hbf Arr: 0716
If you want less changes, you can also go up without changes by the IC coming from Bruxelles to Amsterdam and start from there by the CNL night train.
Peter :)
