Hello!

I want to buy seat reservation for Interrail Pass for Warszawa-Berlin express on 31.12.11 at 9:55.
However, at DB ticket office I was said that it is impossible now to buy seat reservations from Poland to Germany on these trains with departure after 10.12.

Is it really so?
When I be able to buy a seat reservation?

Hi,

on the 11th december the annual big timetable change takes place this year - this means that bookings for trains after this date might not be possible yet, as it seems to be the case with the BWE apparently.
You cannot predict when exactly the train will be possible to book...you'll have to try again in the next weeks, it should be possible two weeks before the timetable change latest. Anyway, take care that you get the correct reservation - with what kind of InterRail pass are you travelling?

If it covers both Poland and Germany (Global Pass with country of residence not being either of the countries or One Country Passes for both countries) it is 4,50€, insist on that one, there have been troubles with reservations at 23€ which are only neccessary if you have an InterRail pass covering one country only. If you are from PL or DE you can get other special tickets to the border which they can sell you at the DB office as well.

Hi!

Is the reservation fee for a Global Interrail 15 days pass holder still 4,50€ for a non-resident of Poland and Germany on the international night train Warszawa Centralna 19:00 Berlin-Lichtenberg 05:28 ?
Are there any additional fees?
I have never used Interrail pass before and I'll try to get from Poland to Sweden.

Dziekuje! Tack! Danke! Thank you!

Hi!

Which night train are you looking for? The one from Warsaw to Szczecin?
Reservations for domestic Polish trains are free when made at a station in Poland, in other countries you pay the standard reservation fare (eg 4,50€ in Germany, 3,50€ in Austria,...).

We are official partners of interrail.eu - to support the free information and the forum on railcc, please be fair and buy your official Interrail pass via our railcc partner link: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]
Thank you! :)
