Hi there! I´m going interrailing for the very first time this summer and i want to know if anyone has an estimate of how long it would take to get from Finland to Italy? I only have time for a 2 week travel so i want to get as fast as possible down to italy and then work my way through the southern part of europe. I have considered flying down to save time but I figured it´s smart to first check how long it would take if you just go straight from Finland to Italy and don´t stop unless necessary on the way. Soo, does anyone know how long it takes or where I could find this kind of information? Thanks!

Hi Mia ...

first you will have to use a ferry... Turku-Stockholm will be the cheapest option...

Down to Copenhagen, then by night train to Basel (Switzerland):

From Basel to Italy... that's it... :)

Use the schedule planer starting from Stockholm and you can find several connections:
