Hey all (:

First of all great with this forum to get help on (:

But this is my first interrail trip, i will do this with a mate (it's his first one too)
We will travel for 22 days. and then we was wonder about how large the bag have to be.
We have looked on Haglös matrix 60L, or do we need to upgrade it to 75L?

Thank you

/Andree

Hi!

I'm doing fine with a 60 (or 65) +10 litres Lafuma. Served me well on several trip, the longest being 6 weeks.

Well...I know some stores here in Austria, but I guess that's not quite what you are looking for. ;)

If you want to invest a little I can recommend Vaude for instance.

hi ...
I do it the same way like Flow ... 60/65l should be enough - otherwise it is too much weight to carry ... most hostels offer facilities to wash your clothes.
about tents ... there are a lot of companies offering them... most expensive ones are by Hilleberg - cheaper ones by Tatonka ... but a tent for EUR 30 will be enough if traveling in the summer months.

Okay, hehe just because the website said 75 L is mostly the best.
But i will trust you guys and stay on that haglöfs 65 L. This question is off topic.

What about the booking, do we have to book us in before we start? because then i would say we will loose the free feeling

the website will be updated soon to a new version 2.0 ... then the value will change from 75 to 65 ... :)

you only have to buy your ticket some days before your departure and fix your starting date...
reservations or supplements for trains (night trains or special trains) can be bought during your trip. in the summer months I recommend to book it at least 3 days in advance to be sure.
if you want to support our forum and all the work, buy your official InterRail ticket via [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]
delivery to the UK is within 24 hours, rest of Europe 48 hours.
:)

season is just starting then ...
if you know your exact travel dates, book in advance - if not... keep as well a little bit your freedom and flexibility.
