Hi!

The daytime trains are free of charge with InterRail. For trains travelling overnight between the two cities supplements might be payable - you can find the info in the relevant country boards of the forum .

A regular ticket probably is ~15-20€.

Hey Peter!

So traveling in the trains: EC 212, IC 310 and EC 210 you don't have to pay a supplement or seat reservation?

Thanks :D

So if I want to get the EC210 from Zagreb to Ljubljana, can I just turn up at the station with my Interrail pass?

I'm asking because on the DB site it lists Subject to compulsary reservation for this train..

Hi.

Just get into the train and sit down, like it is already mentioned above.

The DB schedule planer is not relevant for InterRail travelers.
The comments there have nothing to do with InterRail.

Always do it this way:
1) Use the schedule planer: [ux]http://plan.rail.cc[/ux]
2) Compare it to the supplements: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation
3) Check the country topics: https://rail.cc/en/countries

Hi Peter,

I did as you said - and you're right, on the country pages it doesn't say anything about supplements.

However, the train I want (13:00) says Subject to compulsory reservation on the website you gave me at 1). Does this also not apply to InterRail?

Sorry for the questions! I just want to make sure I don't get fined. :)

It is the same for all schedule planers - as there is no InterRail schedule planer existing...! :)

And no problem to ask - better to ask twice than to pay extra! :)

Yeah I have been hopping on and off trains for 3 weeks now and I haven't payed for any supplement or reservation only a reservation of a bed in a night train and yes the train schedule website says that I'll need a reservation or supplement but actually don't. :)
