Hey!

How can I do a reservation for that train? You wrote that there's no one needed but is it necessary for examples on weekends? Can I get a reservation online?

Thanks!

Hi!

As for the Caledonian Sleeper I dont think you can get a reservation online for this night train, the Night Riviera. I've been travelling twice on that service (each time with a free reservation) but there were plenty free seats left on both occasions.
If you want to get a reservation, you can do so at every staffed National Rail counter in the UK. So you dont necessarily have to go to a station operated by Great Western (the company that runs that night train) - I made my reservation last year at Victoria station. :)

Second question;)
Is there no possibility to get on the sleeper in Reading or when going back to london in Plymouth? On their homepage they just offer the times for London an Penzance.

Hi.
Only the times shown are a stop as well. Night trains usually don't have a lot of stops to avoid noise and theft inside.

Hi!

You can find the timings for reading in the opening post. ;)

Between Plymouth and Penzance there are some additional stops which I didnt show in the first post. You should be able to get them when using the schedule planner: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
