I need to travel from Dubrovnik to Ljubljana on May 12, departing Dubrovnik at 7AM. What are my best options to complete this travel within 10 hours and still see the countryside?

Hi!
Hire a fast car (with or without driver) or have a look at bus connections. 10h probably wont be possible with the latter but still much faster than bus to Split and train via Zagreb to Ljubljana.
For bus connections look at busticket4.me, getbybus.com, balkanviator.com or even flixbus.com
