Is there a time table where I am able to see which trains are leaving and how long it takes for them to be in the city of its destination.

I might want to go make a trip by train next summer 8) , but I'm not quite sure about my travelling route...I'm thinking about leaving from Holland to France-Italy-Austria-Germany-Denmark and them back home...but does anybody knows if there is a connection between all of these countries? And If I am able to take a night train, where I can sleep?

This is gonna be my first international trip by train, so I don't really know much about it :p

Look here: https://rail.cc/en/search-train-route

In night trains you usually have a choice of accommodation - some have seats (normal or special reclining ones) most have couchettes, which are basic bunk type beds, similar to a hostel, and some have sleepers, which are more like a hotel room. Typically there would be 6 people in 1 couchette compartment, and between 1-3 in a sleeper. In my experience, couchettes are the best compromise between comfort and cost

Hi!

:arr: [ux]http://plan.rail.cc[/ux]

You can use the online schedule planner for searching for connections between cities - read the information in the following link: https://rail.cc/en/search-train-route You will find timetables in PDF format on most train companies websites but for people not so experienced in rail travel they are probably to complicated to read - it's easier to search with the schedule planner from the link above.
Another useful link for InterRail beginners: https://rail.cc/en/first-time-interrail

For night train informations please browse the relevant country topics where you will find detailed informations. :)

Don't hesitate to ask if there are other questions remaining - and have a nice trip.
