Hi everyone, me and my boyfriend are preparing our first InterRail for this summer and are very interested about it!
The problem is... we want to see so much but are not so sure we will have enough time for all.
There is a couple of cities we want to spend more time in (for example 1.5-2 days in Paris, plus 1-2 in Disneyland :D ; around 3 days in Rome and maybe 2-3 days in the beach of some Greek island). But for the rest of the cities the idea is to visit just the most important places and spend about a day per city.
We will be travelling one month and this is more or less the route we want to take:
Flight from Norway to Cracow, spending one day just to visit Auschwitz-Birkenau - Berlin - Amsterdam - Brussels - Paris/Eurodisney - Milan - Venice - Florence/Pisa - Rome - Athens - Myconos
So, the question is... do you think this is possible when having one month interrail? And... we would like to visit after Greece some other capital city like Sofia, Belgrade or Vienna.... could it be possible?? :'(
Thank you so much in Advance and thanks for taking the time to read it!

Hi!
Your route should be just fine for a month long InterRail trip. However, I guess you probably won't be motivated enough to visit another city after spending some days at a beach in Greece... ;) But if you really want to do so it's certainly possible - but you then should plan the end of your journey a little since you probably will fly home again, right?
:arr: https://rail.cc/en/krakow-gdansk-berlin-night-train/f1408
:arr: Berlin - Amsterdam: Six free day trains taking ~6h30 plus one night train with compulsory reservation.
:arr: Amsterdam - Bruxelles: Hourly free IC trains plus several fast Thalys trains with compulsory (and expensive) reservation. I'd recommend visiting Bruges, Gent and/or Amsterdam too when staying in Bruxelles. All cities have excellent rail connections to Bruxelles.
:arr: Bruxelles - Paris: Frequent direct and fast Thalys trains (again, expensive compulsory reservation); other options would include going Bruxelles - Gent - Lille and then with TGV (3€ compulsory reservation) to Paris or https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/thalys/41
:arr: Paris - Italy: I would recommend going to Venice first since you would have to leave the night train early when goinmg to Milano: https://rail.cc/en/paris-milan-venice-train/f3674
Then you could go Venice - Milano - Firenze/Pisa - Roma and then to Ancona for the ferry to Greece. Note that all long distance/ fast trains in Italy require a compulsory reservation: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/italy/it Also, Venice is quite expensive, it is advisable to do it as a day trip and stay in another place in the area (Padua for example).

I hope this helps so far, if any other question occur please ask. And if you want to support the work here at the forum and website please buy your tickets directly at [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] . Thanks. :)
