WInce.
So the minipris is just for a seat right. It's 850 NOK for a bed and no reduction/concession for InterRail pass. Ouch!.
I'm trying to get to Narvik, up through Norway and then back down through Sweden.
I'm gong to look at flipping this and going up through Finland and back down through Sweden and dumping Oslo-Trondheim-Bodo-Narvik altogether. I guess anyone who thinks this is just too much can try and sleep the night in a seat, but as we intend to be awake all the following night at Narvik it's going to make that day a real pain.

Hi!

850 NOK is for a whole sleeper compartment with two berths. You can use either one or two beds for the same price. If you dont want to spend this money, you can use regular 2nd class seats as well...reservation was optional when we travelled last summer. :)

If you want to head straight to Narvik, there are bus connections at Fauske: :arr: https://rail.cc/en/train/narvik-to-bodo

If you are in a hurry, going Oslo - Trondheim during the day, then Trondheim - Fauske overnight could be better, since you then can continue to Narvik during the day and catch the night train to Stockholm there in the afternoon.

Is it possible to buy ticket for night train from Oslo to Trondheim on the station? Will it be still 7 Eur for seat? And where exactly is the station-can someone give me an address?

Thank you very much!

Best regards,

Is it possible to transport a car on this train?

not 100 percent sure, but I do not think so. But you have some alternatives.
a) lease a car in Trondheim
b) use the Hurtigruten to transport your car, but you only can start in Bergen. So you can take a ferry to Bergen from Hirtshals (Danmark) or take a ride to Bergen by car.
c) use a finnish motorrail train, but it's farer away from Trondheim than Oslo. (so a very bad alternative)

why do you want to take a car with you and do not drive through the great norwegian landscape?

NSB does not offer car carrying trains - you could only use this company which offers car carrying trains mainly aimed for commercial purposes but obviously also accepts private customers - but it is very expensive: www.autotransport.no/default.asp?catID=1211

I'm searching for the nighttrain sleeper reservation on ACP rail, but it seems not to be showing. I took several dates (only up to 3 months, of course) but only the normal seat reservations are showed. In reverence the CNL train are shown.
How do I get the possibility to book/reserve a Stove / sleeper compartment by the NSB?

ACP is the only online possibility I know of - if it doesnt work (which can be a temporary issue) you have to get the reservation at a station. Keep in mind that you will have to pay for the full compartment - booking of one berth in a double compartment is not possible.
