Hello all,

I hope someone know the answer :)

I'm from Poland and I'm taking a night train from Germany to Poland:
(great one so I'd use a one day of my ticket only)

D 50472

Offenburg dep 19:37
Poznan Gl. arr 07:33

Border stations are here:

Hannover Hbf (Germany) 02:38
Rzepin (Poland) 06:04

To which of these is my Interrail valid? (Rzepin is close to the border and Hannover is not)
Is my reservation valid for the WHOLE JOURNEY?
Then what will I pay for on the Polish side actually? For the distance only (cheap) or for a bed again (expensive)?

Looking forward for any ideas and both a nice day and a new year :)

Hi ...

You will have to pay a ticket for Offenburg to Rzepin - but I think this night train is running with a GLOBAL PRICE.
So I recommend you (if you know your exact travel date) to order your night train ticket some weeks in advance and get one of the limited special fares - it will be definitely cheaper than the full price ticket.

Peter :)

You can also take another CNL to Berlin (arrival 7.18) for which your InterRail is valid with small supplement. Then continue with RE to Frankfurt-Oder, then use regional trains to Poland. These trains can however be slow and only few times a day - well you know it better than I do )

If you use InterRail that is also valid on your day of departure, you can do even better. First take ICE to Koln to see the cathedral and catch the same nicht train to Berlin (the part of the train going from Amsterdam allows you to disembark in Berlin).

From Berlin, you can either take the same train to Poznan for full price, or wait for morning BWE, or go free to Frankfurt-Oder to catch it there cheaper, or ride regional trains via Frankfurt-Oder as written above.
